The project grew out of frustration with social media. What was once a space for connection had become a source of disconnection. EnSomDig flips this dynamic, by removing the ‘like' button as well as all ads and prioritizing community and meaningful interaction over endless scrolling. The name is a take on the word 'Ensom' meaning 'lonely' in Danish and the phrase 'En som dig' meaning 'Someone like you'. EnSomDig was developed in collaboration with SUMH – Youth with Disabilities, with the goal of creating a more inclusive digital experience. By focusing on accessible design by using high color contrast, customizable page settings, and a clear layout, it aims to make social media welcoming and easy to use for everyone. The project was later selected to be exhibited at Skagen Odde Naturcenter in Skagen, Denmark.
